Our Doctors
Kenneth Cohrn, DDSDr. Cohrn has been in practice for over 30 years, serving the tri-county region for 17. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo followed by a General Practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Cohrn is a nationally-known speaker and active contributor to the forensic sciences. He is an Adjunct Professor, Dept. of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine, School of Medicine at University of Florida. He also is a Forensic Odontology consultant to the C.A. Pound Forensic Indentification Lab, University of Florida. And in his spare time, he is an accomplished ballroom dancer. Professional Affiliations

Bryant Anderson, DMDDr. Anderson graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he earned his D.M.D. degree. While in dental school he had the opportunity to serve in several dental humanitarian mission trips to Honduras, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. After graduating he decided to continue his studies by entering a General Practice Residency program at the Malcom Randall VAMC in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Anderson comes from Salt Lake City, Utah. At 19, he moved to San Antonio, Texas where he served 2 years as a missionary. After returning to Utah he attended Utah Valley University where he studied Biology and Spanish. As part of his undergraduate studies he lived in Spain to study the language and earned a Business Spanish Certificate from the University of Madrid. In his spare time Dr. Anderson enjoys marathon running and kayaking the springs of central Florida. |

Our Dental Assistant Team
June Gallant, CDAJune has been a Dental Assistant at Heritage Dental for over six years. She graduated from Gulf Coast Community College with an AA and as a CDA with a certificate in Expanded Functions and Radiology. She is certified in CPR. Since 2008 she's a member of FEMORS (Florida Emergency Mortuary Operations Response Team) as a Forensic Dental Assistant. She has been happily married to Steve for 27 years and has two children attending the University of Central Florida. "Our goal is to treat every patient as if they are a part of our family at Heritage Dental." |

Alicia GhigliottyAlicia has been part of our team for over five years now. She comes to us with more than 10 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. She studied at the University of Florida and her continuing education includes Expanded Functions and Radiology. Alicia has also taken numerous courses in Cosmetic Dentistry at LVI in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a new mother, with her first daughter, Sophie who joins her two older brothers Cobey and Cameron. "The biggest battle that one has is with oneself. Conquer that and you can conquer anything." |

Our Hygiene Team
Jennifer Nix, RDHJennifer, our newest hygienist, received her B.S. Degree from Loma Linda University, Ca. During her 35 years of practice, Jennifer worked for a periodontist for 12 years and received extensive training in non-invasive periodontal therapy, i.e. no surgery. She is very concerned about patients sensitivity levels and has a special cleaning process that ensures gentle but thorough dental hygiene. Another area of focus is teaching patients how to clean deep under the gums to prevent bone loss, decay, and to prevent health issues. She looks forward to getting to know you and about your interests, hobbies, pets and other family members.Terry, her husband, was born in Alaska, and they love to fish year round. Their motto: "We’re too blessed to be stressed." |

Carol Scott, RDHCarol joined the Heritage Dental team in January of 2007. Dental Hygiene is her second career. She earned a BA in Social Work at the University of Kentucky in 1973 and spent 13 years as a Social Worker. In 1987 she went back to school to earn a degree in Dental Hygiene at Palm Beach Junior College and has been a practicing hygienist for more than 20 years now. During her career, Carol has worked in Pediatric, General Dentistry and Periodontal practices. Carol's duties include: Patient education, periodontal charting, exposing radiographs, performing dental prophylaxes and non-surgical peridontal treatment. "You don't have to brush your teeth, just the ones you want to keep." |

Jody YakamJody has been with us for over six years now. Jody is the patient relations coordinator who confirms upcoming appointments 24-48 hours in advance or checks in on patients after treatment. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, following-up with patients and processes all insurance claims. Her organizational skills are invaluable, her upbeat attitude and willingness to provide support where ever she is can makes her vital to our success. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she is a Sabres fan, and proud of it. "Peace, like charity, begins at home." |
